anyone have a couch?

my friend and i are road-tripping the US and it's bloody expensive. does anyone have a couch for two house-trained Australians to sleep on when we're in your part of the country? we've already travelled the west coast so we're now heading towards Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Florida and up the east coast to New York.
